RenalTrack ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with Google Play's Health Content and Services policy. This Privacy Policy explains how our blood pressure tracking application ("the App") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your health information.
Key Point: All your health data is stored locally on your device only. We do not transmit, upload, or have access to your blood pressure data.

App Permissions
RenalTrack requests the following Android permissions:
- Storage/Files Access: Required to export your blood pressure data to JSON files and import previously exported data
We do not request: Internet access, camera, microphone, contacts, location, or any other permissions beyond basic file operations for import/export functionality.
How We Use Your Information
Your health data is used exclusively on your device for the following purposes:
- Displaying your blood pressure trends and history
- Calculating statistics (averages, ranges, trends)
- Generating visual representations (charts, heatmaps, streak calendars)
- Enabling data export for your personal records
- Allowing data import from backup files
Your data is NOT:
- Transmitted to our servers or any cloud service
- Shared with third parties
- Used for analytics or advertising
- Accessible to us or anyone else
Data Storage and Security
All your blood pressure data is stored locally on your Android device using AsyncStorage, a secure local storage mechanism provided by React Native.

- Local storage encryption: Your data benefits from Android system-level encryption
- No network transmission: The app does not connect to the internet or transmit any health data
- No third-party access: No analytics services, advertising networks, or external APIs have access to your health information
- Device security: Your data security depends on your device's security (screen lock, encryption, etc.)

We do not share your data with anyone. Period.
Your health information:
- Remains on your device at all times
- Is never transmitted to our servers (we don't have servers)
- Is not shared with healthcare providers, insurance companies, or any third parties
- Is not sold or monetized in any way

You have complete control over your data:
- Right to access: View all your data at any time within the app
- Right to export: Export your complete data set to a JSON file
- Right to deletion: Delete individual readings or all data through the app settings

Data Retention
Your blood pressure data is retained on your device:
- Until you manually delete it through the app
- Until you uninstall the application (which removes all local data)
- Until you clear the app's data through Android settings
We have no data retention policies because we do not have access to your data.
